MOFGY Releases New Single: “Whoop-De-Doo”

MOFGY’s new single, “Whoop-De-Doo” has a folk sound with a lo-fi style recording that reminds me of Pete Seeger or Woodie Guthrie with a punk soul. I’m really digging the harmonica throughout the song, and my love of old blue grass certainly helps me to appreciate the usage of trains in the song, but my favorite part comes late in the song when most the instruments drop out and the guitar takes a back seat to simple plaintive vocals that bluster into a powerful shouted refrain.
