Bands

We don’t “sign” bands, but we do release live albums by bands we love. Here are some of the bands that we have released live albums for or will be releasing live albums for….

Call in Dead

Call in Dead

Call in Dead

Mixing hardcore, punk and metal, Call in Dead, release music that is reminiscent of their middle-aged roots in the D.I.Y. scenes of FL, DC, and NJ, but still strives to make it fresh by mixing all of their styles.

2AMature

2AMature

2AMature

Less than a year into playing their first show, these dudes were set to share the stage with bands like Blitz Kid, but Covid fucked that up. Luckily they have kept going releasing a live 7” a digital EP, and they are ready to bring their version of garage punk/pop punk to any and all places that will have them.

TV Generation

TV Generation

TVG

Punk rock like your mom used to make. They are like a state of nature, “Solitary, Poor, Nasty, Brutish and Short!”, and they came to kick ass and chew bubblegum, and they are all out of mother fucking bubblegum!

Two-Man Advantage

Two-Man Advantage

Two-Man Advantage

If you like hardcore punk rock songs that hit hard, have great melodies that sing about hockey, beer, cars, and hockey, then look no further!

The Sinema

The Sinema

The Sinema

Just like their name implies, they put on a great show full of theatrics and suspense that make most metal bands weep as they realize they should start playing shoegaze emo instead.

Year of the Fist

Year of the Fist

Year Of The Fist reaches from Oakland, California where there has been no shortage of great musicians and bands to play with or catch live on any night of the week.  Together their musical backgrounds span all genres, but all have the love for rock and roll.  This has led them to open for a wide spectrum of acts such as L7, Save Ferris, Iron Chic, 88 Fingers Louie, The Vibrators, Legendary Shack Shakers and Zeke to name a few.  With 10 years under their belt as a band, Year Of The Fist has released two full length albums, an EP, a handful of singles, has toured regionally as well as internationally and released several music videos, with no end in sight.  From the studio to the stage Year of the Fist comes out swinging.

The Goons

The Goons

I started seeing and playing with The Goons in the mid 1990’s when I was in high-school. The show on this album was recorded in the early 2000’s. If you are 35-50 years old and from the DC area, you know and love the Goons. The are punk rock personified, and to be unware of them is the greatest shame of the world. Thus this release…

Grave Return

Grave Return

One of my favorite local Florida bands. I went to see them without hearing them at a locals only show at Will’s Pub, and I bought their album and listened to it daily. Given the chance to record them live and release them on a split with another great band, The Hamiltons, was not a chance I was going to let slip by!

https://www.facebook.com/thehamiltonssuck

The Hamiltons

The Hamiltons

One of the dirtiest, grimiest punk bands in Orlando. Their singer reminds me of a mix of Lee Ving and Tesco Vee filtered through more alcohol than Lemmy would consume during a set. I couldn’t be more stoked to be putting them out on a split with Grave Return!

Curtains

Curtains

If the logo doesn’t sell you on this band then just give them time to cut through one of their kick ass songs of melodic hardcore punk that would fit on stage with greats like Naked Raygun or Husker Du! Stoked to put this out as a split with Swift Knuckle Solution!

Swift Knuckle Solution

Swift Knuckle Solution

I’d tell you they were a punk band, my friend would say they are metal, another would say they are just dirty rock n’ roll. Like the blind men and the elephant, we are all correct. They mix rock genres while not fitting perfectly into any which is why I love them.

The Ratchet Boys

The Ratchet Boys

Do you love ska? Did you live in the DC/VA/MD area around the turn of the millennium? If so, you had to have experienced the ALLsome that was the Ratchetboys! Whether bringing it to the Corner Kick or the Sidebar, they were a ska force to be reckoned with! This album is dedicated to the late singer Dan Hess who passed away from cancer, and all profits will go to the Bone Marrow Donor Benefit.

FORTITUDE

FORTITUDE

This is hardcore like the kind my grandma used to make! Covered in breakdowns, personal powerful lyrics, honor, respect with a healthy dose of fuck you!

Some Kind of Nightmare

Some Kind of Nightmare

SKON are tour warriors which I guess makes them the epitome of street punk because they are always on the road. But in all seriousness, they are tight, energetic and give a strong does of angry but heartfelt, meaningful lyrics instead of resorting to the typical fare of street punks songs about beer or getting into fights. With alternating male and female vocals and true grit, this band is what punk rock what meant to be.

ann beretta

ann beretta

Any fan of Lookout Records and/or Fueled by Ramen in the 1990s will know this Richmond, VA punk band. No doubt you saw them on tour with Avail, Less Than Jake and Hot water Music like I did. More than pop punk, more than punk rock, they bring a wide range of influences to each album they release, especially the all acoustic live album they did for us!

RATH & The Wise Guys

RATH & The Wise Guys

Snotty melodic punk band that digs into the “Florida man” memes and owns them! You like fun? You like songs you can sing along to and skateboard to? This is your band!

The Kutoffs

The Kutoffs

The Kutoffs bring the 1990’s melodic skate punk right to your front door and kick it down! Fueled by driving beats, sick melodies and hooks that could have caught Moby Dick, these dudes don’t disappoint!

No Coffin

No Coffin

The best thrash doom metal band in Miami! Playing over 140 2022, these dudes don’t stop touring and playing their hearts out. Need to let your frustrations out in pure blasts of metal in less than 30 minutes? These dudes are for you and any Neurosis fans that think Neurosis songs are too long.

Moat Cobra

Moat Cobra

Orlando’s best metal band! Fusing metal, hardcore and punk into a blazing set of killer songs. Their relentless energy is matched only by the quality of their sick song writing. These dudes will be our first release under our Live & Dead category with Side A: Live and Side B: Dead (Studio).

Rise Defy

Rise Defy

Rise Defy are veterans of the DC hardcore punk scene, with former and current members of Scream, HR Band, Police & Thieves, and many more. The sound has a touch of hardcore, but leans more heavily on first wave UK punk bands like The Clash, Stiff Little Fingers, and Generation X, fusing those influences with a touch of soul and R&B. The band formed as a reaction to swelling neo-fascism that accompanied the rise of Trumpism in late 2016, with the goal of rehumanizing experience with hook-laden yet boundary blurring sounds.

Necrotic Society

Necrotic Society

Call in Dead played with them on tour in NYC in the summer of 2022. They absolutely killed it. I bought their four band 12” comp, and took it home for a spin, and I loved them even more. Hard and fast, furious as fuck political crust punk. A perfect band to be our Live and Dead Vol. 2! Side A: Live and Side B: Dead (Studio).

The Degenerates of Punk

Better than New England Clam Chowder, DOP bring the punk rock n’ roll to life with tight fast no frills songs that could have been at any early CBGB show. Need a night of fun? DOP will not disappoint. It will be the best night you don’t remember!

Submachine

Submachine

The legendary Submachine has been playing shows for as long as I’ve been going to show…30+ years! And they’ve never stopped blowing the fuck out of the fucking place each show. Honored to release them on a DCxPC Live album especially since they were on VMLive Vol. 2. That album and others on VMLive is what inspired us to do this shit, so fuck yeah!

Skappository

Skappository

Skappository formed on Long Island, NY in the winter of 2021 and stormed its way into the ears of musical audiences everywhere with their debut EP, “Up Yours!”. Inspired by the sounds of bands like The Specials, Operation Ivy, The Suicide Machines & Sublime, Skappository crafts dynamic songs with a heartfelt meaning. Even though their tongue-in-cheek moniker might harbor a juvenile essence, the balance between silly and serious is found with a deep and purposeful message in every song. Priding themselves on stimulating live performances, the band’s pure energy gets audiences dancing, and has allowed them the honor of performing alongside ska scene veterans like The Pietasters, Mephiskapheles, The Scofflaws, Hub City Stompers, Pilfers, Monkey, Sgt. Scagnetti & Beat Brigade, amongst many others. They’ve toured the northeastern U.S. multiple times, and also have had the pleasure of performing in front of festival crowds at multiple events like Punk Island 2022 in NYC, Froggy Daze Music Festival in Upstate NY, and the Happy Skalidays Festival in Scranton, PA.

Scum Shots

Scum Shots

Scum Shots is a garage punk band from Staten Island, NY. Founded in 2016 by Ricky Vega & Jamie Crispino, and joined later in 2021 by Mike Sanbeg & Nick Parisi, the band has really come into its own to have its sound grow & mature. Their sound & direction have matured with time, with many of the songs becoming longer but still approached with the same punk attitude. They touch on everything from punk, surf punk to garage, alternative, ska, & reggae. The band has become well known for their high-energy live shows. Their first EP with their new line-up, entitled “Beach Reapers”, was released in September 2022, with 60k+ streams on Spotify & growing.

Middle-Aged Queers

We are stoked to be releasing a split 12” with them and The Raging Nathans!

Jacob Danielson-Moore

Jacob Danielson-Moore

Appalachian punk rock at it’s best…dirty, gritty, and honest. Feeling down? Jacob will make you feel worse while also making you feel better. Don’t ask me how he does it, it’s just the way it is. It’s like voting for president, nobody understand it but they do it. (Of course, if you’d like to know, I’m a social studies teacher, and I’d be happy to explain it.)
