MEET SCOTT

Punk is forever. It’s who I am. It’s what I do.

I’m Scott, and punk isn’t just music—it’s a way of life. I grew up in the DC punk scene, touring, playing, and living for the energy of punk. In 2008, I took a detour to Florida as a middle school teacher, but punk never left my veins.

My bandmate Mike (Call in Dead) and I started booking shows, blending my DC roots with his Port Charlotte connections to launch DCxPC Live. When the pandemic hit, we pivoted—live-streaming shows, pressing them to vinyl, and capturing that raw, electric energy like the iconic VMLive series.

In 2023, life shifted. My family moved to New York’s Hudson Valley, and Mike stepped away—though the brotherhood remains in the name. I carried DCxPC Live into a new era, expanding beyond live recordings with Live & Dead—live on Side A, studio tracks on Side B.

Releases now come from across the U.S. and beyond -even Costa Rica. We’re still throwing shows, building community, and documenting the scene the best way we know how—live.

Raw sound. Real community. Punk rock love. That’s the DCxPC Live way.

THE VALUES

DCxPC Live: Our Space, Our Values

At DCxPC Live, we are dedicated to building and supporting an inclusive music scene that’s safe for everyone. We believe in creating a space where art, activism, and community come together. Rooted in punk rock, we believe in its power to stand against injustice and create positive change.

THE BACK LINE

A shout-out to a few of the awesome people giving their time and energy to help DCxPC Live do what we do!

  • Person with a green mohawk hairstyle, wearing a graphic tank top, suspenders, and punk style accessories, standing in an industrial or workshop environment.

    Arsenic/AL

    SHOW SUPPORT

Al is the go-to for roadie work, door duties, and merch support at DCxPC Live events. He’s all about making an impact, supporting others, and staying true to himself while having a blast along the way.

  • Two friends smiling for a selfie outdoors during daytime, with a cloudy sky in the background.

    Savannah and Dez

    SHOW SUPPORT & LIVE SOUND

In addition to helping rock the sound boards at many DCxPC Shows or providing additional support Dez and Savannah are doing a lot around town. Savannah is the chaos-wrangling co-founder of Poison Paradise Records, handling logistics, planning, and keeping the dream on track. Dez is the sonic architect behind the label, leading the charge on production and audio wizardry. Together, they run Poison Paradise Records—an artist-forward, punk-rooted label built to support loud misfits with something to say and a sound that hits hard.

  • A man wearing glasses and a black graphic t-shirt sits on a beige sofa with a black and white dog sitting on his chest. The background shows a room with shelves decorated with various items and a large window.

    Josh Danger

    LIVE RECORDING/MIXING AND MASTERING

Joshua "Danger" Dobbs has been thrashing for the RunnAmuckS since 1996, explored the spirited, youthful tales of coming of age in punk rock in the south through creative writing, and has been involved in Punk Rock Production at Danger Room Recording Service since 2003. Since 2020, he's served as an Audio Mechanic for DCxPC Live helping with recording, mixing and mastering

  • A woman wearing glasses with a slight smile, outdoors with a cloudy sky and blurred trees in the background.

    Marni

    STRATEGIC & CREATIVE SUPPORT

With a background in punk and a passion for creativity, Marni assists Scott with DCxPC Live’s daily operations. While she’s often in the background, you might still catch her on stage every now and then. These days, you’re more likely to find her dancing to ‘80s music than in the pit—Phil Collins has mellowed out this rocker chick.

  • Young man with a purple mohawk hairstyle wearing a black vest with spikes, a black T-shirt with white graphics, multiple necklaces, and teal earrings, holding a plastic cup with a dark beverage.

    Willie

    SHOW SUPPORT

Street punk from lower upstate NY who enjoys attending local shows. I'm Just here to support my scene and be a stepping stone on the path to making punk more of what we all love.

  • Awesome human taking a self-portrait

    @put.over.photo

A frequent photographer at DCxPC Live shows. @put.over.photo started ringside at pro wrestling events in 2018 capturing the chaos and choreography of professional wrestling. That same spirit drives his photography today. Aaron aims to capture authenticity in motion: unposed, and fully alive. His work honors the energy and identity of subcultures that often go overlooked. Through each frame, he wants you to feel what it was like to be there: sweat in the air, heart in your throat, and the noise still ringing in your ears long after the last song ends.

  • A black and white close-up of a man wearing a knitted beanie, transparent glasses, and a dark shirt, with a neutral expression.

    Dave Boccio

Dave Boccio is a freelance photographer located in the greater Hudson Valley. Dave first fell in love with the art of photography when he lived in Florida and started photographing alligators in the wild. Once Dave moved back to NY, the people of NYC called upon him and street photography became his calling. Dave is best known for his work in the streets of New York City taking candid photographs of the people of NYC

  • Phil

When he’s not rocking the drums with Poughkeepsie punk band RBNX, Phil’s behind the board helping out with sound whenever he can. He’s a solid human, and the support he gives to DCxPC Live and the scene is truly invaluable.

  • Chasity @hxrrxrqueenphoto

    Hudson Valley | Concert Photography

Chasity’s favorite things on the planet are music, photography, cats and bats! Nothing makes her happier than to be surrounded by people she loves doing what she loves! She picked up photography when her father helped her get her camera, and hasn’t put it down since.

It only took a few shows of working with Chasity and seeing their photos to ask them to become a permanent fixture in DCxPC Live world. Check out their work at @hxrrxrqueenphoto
