Rath from Rath & The Wise Guys, aka Steve from No Vacancy Media, has done almost every livestream DCxPC has put on and later turned into releases. It’s almost a no brainer his band would appear on their label at some point. It helps in no small measure that Rath & The Wise Guys totally rip. When the drums started pounding and Steve yelled out, “Everybody here is going to hell tonight!” I knew I was in for something great. I was not disappointed. The band says in the liner notes that this was “the most epic set of their lives yet,” and I believe it. I felt like I was right there in the pit at Uncle Lou’s for these three songs. Not to be outdone, The Kutoffs brought an equal intensity to their performance. Their sound is more melodic and less frenetic than The Wise Guys, but I still dug it.
