The Riverbed Release New Single: “Confessional”

With influences from old thrashers like Megadeth and later groove metal bands like Lamb of God, The Riverbed’s newest single “Confessional” is thrashtastic slab of metal up my ass. The vocals have a good guttural sound without sounding like The Cookie Monster. The bridge with that rad ass guitar solo and rapid fire double bass pedal comes in at the perfect time to keep the song movie and is followed by an even more urgent metal assault than we heard in the earlier parts of song.

The music video is simple but effective with the character from the song’s storyline behind a confessional panel with lyrics appearing in various fonts, movements, and colors which helped keep your eyes following the song.
