Faraway Dogs Release New Single: “Ghost Song”

Faraway Dog’s newest single, “Ghost Song”, does an excellent job of mixing bluegrass and folk with a punk rocker’s urgency and edge. I could see them touring with Old Man Markley or joining Chuck Ragan on his Revival Tour. This would have been perfect at Camp Punksylvania 3’s shadow stage that was up the mountain in the woods lit by a bonfire.

Played with excellent musicianship (pretty sure I hear some mandolin, some banjo, and a fiddle) and sung with passion; this song had me hooked from the first listen. If you’re a fan of The Goddamn Gallows, The Bridge City Sinners, The Devil Makes Three, Days N Daze, Amigo the Devil, then this shit is for you too.

You can also listen on their Spotify or my Folk Punk Playlist
