Christopher James Vasseur Releases New Single: “Freedom”!

Christopher James Vasseur new song, “Freedom” is a classic protest song with a call to show more love and kindness. It reminds me of Frank Turner’s “Be More Kind”. Chris’s promo says he is influenced by Bad Religion, The Clash, and Neil Young. I’d toss in some Billy Bragg, Willie Nelson and maybe even some Tim Barry.

The opening lines: “I live in a racist country, I live in a democracy” give you a hint of what’s to come and then eventually develops into “All I know that the path through hatred is to spread some love around”. What comes in the middle? You’ll have to listen for yourself. You won’t regret it.
