Human Dinosaur Machine Releases New Single: “Ventilator”!
I don’t quiet no what to say about this band other than they fucking rock. I don’t know where Northern River is or what Northern Rivers punk rock normally sounds like, but this shit is dope. I’ll be honest, I’m supposed to just review this one song, but I did a dive into their Spotify and its just filled with fuck. Like absolute fuck. There are songs that make me think I’m listening to Bad Cop/Bad Cop and then songs that make think I’m listening to NYHC that would have been on early Victory Records and then stuff that makes me think of My Chemical Romance infused with Nirvana. This is a band full of talent headed by a vocalist who just wails. As soon as I heard the vocals I felt like I was in the scene in Wayne’s World when Wayne heard Cassandra belting out some rad rockage.
They say they’re influenced by bands I’ve never heard of like Killing Heidi and Body Jar as well as the classic grunge of Hole. I checked out the two unknowns, and they are okay but both seem to pale in comparison to what I’m hearing from Human Dinosaur Machine.
You dig a mix of grunge/punk/hardcore/metal and more with some of the sickest vocal chops I’ve heard in a long time, you need to check out not only this song but their whole catalog. If I keep reviewing badass Australian bands like this, I’m gonna have to push for an Australian tour with my band. — Australian bands: Hit me up!
