Escape Velocity Provide a Fast, Melodic Does of Hardcore Mixed Metal and Pop Punk

Okay…so I can’t tell you much about this band. They only have one social media page: Instagram, and it’s only got two posts, and the only information I can glean from it is that is they are from Springfield, MO and they’re released some rad new music. In specific, their song “Violence and Vanity” has the sound of a band that could have been on early Fat Wreck Chords comps with bands like No Use For A Name, Lagwagon or Strung Out that were fast paced pop punk with elements of metal that just made them sick to skate board to.

This is totally for fans of A Whilhelm Scream, No Pressure and Belmont as it brings in elements from all of them without trying to sound exactly like either. Fast drum beats, down stroked and double picked riffs, melodic guitar leads, driving bass and forceful vocals abound.

I’m assuming these dudes are new and will build up their online profile soon to catch up with the obvious time they took to write some dope songs which you can hear on their Spotify: Escape Velocity
