Full of rebellion and a voice that brings strength to women on the rock scene, Year Of The Fist has just released an amazing and electrifying EP.

Over four songs, they combine punk rock with grunge, alternative and garage for a unique sound that is very different from what we usually hear in the mainstream today.

Once venues shut down in 2020, the band decided to put on a virtual Festival of Fistmas for Ivy Room and garnered some of their biggest supporters. “Through the fest we raised some much-needed funds to help them keep the lights on even though the venue had been dark for so many months,” explains the band.

In the Spring of 2021, with the help of the show-going community, some grants from shuttered music festivals, and the desire to continue on, Ivy Room switched on the lights to start broadcasting live stream concerts from their stage. So for the first time in over a year, the band got a call to perform live.

American punk rock n’ roll collective, YEAR OF THE FIST have launched their latest single, Red Lights Flash, taken from the live performance release via DCxPC. The track is available now on the usual platforms.

This band goes straight to the point without compromise, sincere, rough, and emotional punk rock.

Red Lights Flash is the latest from Year of the Fist, a band that recognizes its power very well, which focuses on this active and relaxing voice that never despairs of what it gets.
