FEBRUARY 27 – INDUSTRIAL ARTS BREWING
Thanks so much for agreeing to play the February 27 show at Industrial Arts Brewing in Beacon.
I’m stoked to see each of you play and to work together to make this a killer night. We’ve got an awesome bill, and as usual, I’ve sandwiched the out-of-town bands between Hudson Valley bands.
SHOW DETAILS
Industrial Arts Brewing
511 Fishkill Ave
Beacon, NY 12508
Load-in: 6:00 PM
Doors: 7:00 PM
Show: 7:30–11:00 PM
Advance Tickets: $10 | Door: $15
SET TIMES
7:30–8:00 PM – Party Mansion (Hudson Valley)
8:15–8:45 PM – Killer Film (Hudson Valley)
9:00–9:30 PM – X-tinguish the Code (NYC)
9:45–10:15 PM – Film and Gender (Massachusetts)
10:30–11:00 PM – Neckscars (Hudson Valley)
Please stick to your scheduled slot and keep sets to 30 minutes max.
DCxPC Live prides itself on putting the punk in punctuality. Running on time keeps the night smooth for everyone. Plus, it’s always better to leave people wanting more than wishing you had played one less song.
I’ll have a timer on stage keeping everyone to 30 minutes. If you break strings, bring an extra guitar. We won’t be adding extra time if you need to change a string.
Your amp catches on fire? That’s another story.
GEAR / BACKLINE
I prefer that bands share gear whenever possible or use the DCxPC Live backline. The goal is to keep changeovers quick and the show running on time.
Here is the gear list from Industrial Arts
Drums
I’ll have my Tama four-piece drum kit available as a backup to Industrial Arts’ drum set since I haven’t used theirs yet.
The kit includes:
Snare stand
Three cymbal stands
Hi-hat stand
Even when using a shared kit, drummers need to bring their own breakables:
Cymbals
Snare
Sticks
Throne
Bass drum pedal
Guitar / Bass
I have:
Two 4x12 Peavey guitar cabinets
One 4x10 Hartke bass cabinet
These are cabinets only, so you will need to bring your own head.
I do not have combo amps. If you plan on using a combo amp, let me know.
If you have any special equipment needs, including mixers, horns, additional inputs, or anything unusual in your setup, please let me know ahead of time.
If someone really wants to use their own cabinet or drum kit and is willing to share it with the other bands, let me know. I’m more than happy to haul less gear.
MERCH
I’ll have:
Two 8-foot tables
Two 6-foot tables
available for bands to use for merch.
Bands keep 100% of their merch money.
HOSPITALITY
Food
TBD
Drinks
TBD
PROMOTION
I’m printing:
11x17 posters
8.5x11 flyers
Handbills
I’ll be putting them up around Beacon, Poughkeepsie, Newburgh, Kingston, New Paltz, and the surrounding area.
If you’re local or have friends who can help distribute flyers, send me an address and I’ll mail some out.
I made the show flyer, so there’s no need to tag me for the artwork.

EVENT STAFF
These are the people who help keep DCxPC Live shows running smoothly.
Dez – Sound Engineer
Dez handles sound for nearly all DCxPC Live shows and makes the bands sound amazing.
In addition to the gear available at the venue, he has four additional DI boxes, two additional subwoofers, and can manage in-ear monitor setups.
Savannah – Production Manager
Savannah coordinates pre-show logistics and helps run the event day-of through production support, staff and performer communication, and troubleshooting as issues arise.
When she’s around, I know there will always be a solution to every problem.
Willy and Arsenic – Stage Crew
Willy and Arsenic help with the door, load-in, stage setup, merch setup, and pretty much anything else needed to keep the show moving.
They are kind and kind of amazing too.
Aaron – Photography
Aaron from @put.over.photo will be there capturing the show.
He photographs nearly all of DCxPC Live’s shows, and I look forward to his photos almost as much as I look forward to the shows.
Chasity – Photography
Chasity from @hxrrxrqueenphoto will also be shooting the show.
She’s a brilliant photographer, and I’m stoked to see what she captures from the night.
All of these folks work incredibly hard to support DCxPC Live events and the scene in general, so please say hi and let them know they’re appreciated.
