Threats Releases New Single: “Hurricane”

Hailing from Nipaluna/Lutruwita (Hobart/Tasmania) Threats delivers a blistering hardcore punk sure to get the kids dancing and the adults moving to the back to avoid a spin kick the the face! “Hurricane” is the first single off their soon to be released second album Backward Alchemy which is being independently released on November 15th.

The band reminds me a bit of DC’s No Man with their intense aggressive sonic attack and the in your face vocal delivery. I’m pretty sure Slutbomb will be touring Australia soon, so it would be fucking sick to have them on the bill with Threats! This is the sort of band where I can see the crowd getting into them a creating a feedback loop of nonstop energy, so the crowd would literally become one with the band, and the show would be not just the band but everyone there!

Check their music out on Bandcamp and then preorder the digital or vinyl album!

You can also listen on their Spotify or my Punk Hardcore Playlist!
