Miracle Blood Releases New Single: “Lobotomizer”
As their tagline says, Miracle Blood is gnarly noise punk for the weird at heart. Their new song, “Lobotomizer” is aptly named as my brain feels torn to pieces listening to this. It’s got that Jesus Lizard feel mixed with the what the fuck is happening right now aspect of Mr. Bungle. The vocals switch from clean to metal style growl. The clean vocals have a unique tone and delivery that remind of a circus, a horror movie and some sort of fucked up Broadway musical. Everything is locked together and synched as one, but somehow the song is still more jarring than it should be. Throw in an abrupt ending, and I don’t need my usual third cup of coffee to wake up this morning.
Dudes are only a couple hours away, so hopefully I catch them live in the near future.
