Jessica Alalawi Releases New Song: “Fuck You”
Jessica Alalawi’s new song “Fuck You” certainly doesn’t hit musically where I usually live, but lyrically with it’s visceral fuck off to transphobic people it is about a punk rock as you can fucking get.
I love the mix of the simple but effective fuck you mixed with intelligent and emotionally charged lyrics delivered with invective at those who “thinking you know what’s right for me!”
I’d put this right up with my other favorite transgender artists: Madison Turner, Laura Jane Grace, and M.A.C.E!
