Eternal Autumn Releases New Single: “Först Havet, Sedan Intet”
Sweden’s Eternal Autumn mixes death metal with melodic metal of the type you might have heard during the New Wave of British Heavy Metal bands such as Mercyful Fate, Iron Maiden or Saxon. Their new song, “Först Havet, Sedan Intet”, is a perfect example of how effortlessly the manage to blend being heavy with being melodic and keeping it all fucking metal!
If you don’t love that guitar solo a little after the three minute mark, then you’re an assclown. Sorry that’s just facts.
The English translation of the song title is “the Sea, Then Nothing” which is fitting since it all seems to feature on this existential crisis of self and the overwhelming forces that can envelope you body and soul until there is naught left but your lifeless body.
