DCxPC Live - Saturday, November 14 - Burning Hag Album Release Show / Chasity Birthday Show
Hey everyone!
Thanks so much for playing the Friday 11/14 show at El Dorado! I’m stoked to see each of you play and to work together to make this night a banger. We’ve got a killer lineup.
SHOW DETAILS
Venue: El Dorado Bar (21+)
121 4th St
Troy, NY 12180
Cover: $6 advance / $12 at the door
Load-in: 7:00 PM
Load through the front door. The show space is straight through the bar in the back. Unless you are the first band, bring your gear into the back room behind the stage. The first band should put their gear directly onstage.
Doors: 8:00 PM
Showtime: 8:00–11:30 PM
SET TIMES
8:00–8:30 PM – Life Abuse (Albany/RVA)
8:50–9:20 PM – Burning Hag (Philly)
9:40–10:10 PM – The Car Bomb Parade (NYC/CT)
10:30–11:00 PM – Ice Queen (Albany)
Please stick to your scheduled slot and keep sets to 30 minutes max. DCxPC Live prides itself on putting the punk in punctuality. Running on time keeps the night smooth for everyone. Plus, it’s always better to leave people wanting more versus wishing you had played one less.
I will have a timer onstage keeping you to 30 minutes, so if you break strings, bring an extra guitar. We won’t give you extra time if you have to change a string. Your amp catches on fire…that’s another story. LOL.
PARKING & LOAD-IN
There is free street parking.
If you can’t find a space in front of the venue or on the same block, double park and we’ll help you load out.
GEAR / BACKLINE
I have a full backline available.
Drums:
Tama 4-piece drum kit with:
• Snare stand
• Two boom stands
• Extension arm that I use for a ride cymbal
• Hi-hat stand
Even when the kit is shared, drummers still need to bring their own breakables:
• Cymbals
• Snare
• Sticks
• Throne
• Bass drum pedal
Guitar/Bass:
• Two Peavey 4x12 guitar cabs
• One Hartke 4x10 bass cab
These are cabs only, so bands will need to bring their own heads to use them.
If anyone needs to use their own gear, such as a combo amp, please let me know.
MERCH
I will provide:
• Two 8-foot rectangular card tables
• Two 6-foot rectangular card tables
HOSPITALITY
I’ll have a case of room-temperature bottled water.
The venue is a full-service bar. Their kitchen burned down last year, so the only food they have is hot dogs, sometimes. There is a pizza place next door.
Each band will be given $20 from DCxPC Live for drinks and/or food.
PAYOUT
Costs:
• Door Person: $50
• Promotion: Poster design, printing, social media ads, etc.: $50 or 10% of the door, whichever is higher
Bands:
After costs, the remaining payout will be split equally, with 25% going to each band.
Depending on cash flow, bands may have to receive their payment the following day via Venmo, PayPal, Cash App, or Zelle.
PROMO
I’m printing:
• 11x17 posters
• 8.5x11 flyers
• Handbills
I’ll be posting them around the Capital District and Hudson Valley. If you’re local, or have friends who are, DM me an address and I’ll mail some out.
Please invite all bands and DCxPC Live to collaborate on all posts and tag the venue.
I’ll also be running targeted social media ads approximately seven days out.
Please tag the flyer artist, Renee, at Painted Mystic on IG

EVENT STAFF
My “backline” — the folks who support me and help keep the show running smoothly.
Al and Willy are DCxPC Live Stage Crew. They often handle the door, help with load-in, stage and merch setup, and jump in wherever needed to keep the show running smoothly.
Chastity is a DCxPC Live Staff Photographer. She takes amazing pictures that capture the moment in all the best ways! It’s also her birthday show, so show her some love!
Savannah is DCxPC Live’s Production Manager. She creates social media videos to promote the shows, helps with show logistics, and often runs lights during shows. Her most important work often goes unnoticed because it’s the behind-the-scenes shit that makes shows run smoothly. She is my go-to whenever I need help solving a problem.
They all work incredibly hard to support my events and the scene in general, so please say hi and let them know how much they are appreciated.
BAND ASSETS NEEDED
Please provide:
• Band bios
• Band photos
• Band videos — sound is not inherently needed
• Band stage plots
• Day-of-show contact name and number
If you haven’t already done so, please upload everything to the 11/14 El Dorado folder or email it to:
scott@dcxpclive.com
savannah@dcxpclive.com
That’s everything! Thanks again for being part of this.
Much love and PMA,
Scott
