DCxPC Live & Rat Milk Collective, November 15 - Urban Waste, YDI, Life Abuse, Half Dizzy, Diminished Returns

Thanks so much for playing Night Swim on Sunday 11/15 ! DCxPC Live is stoked to see each of you play and to work together to make this night a banger. We’ve got a killer lineup!

SHOW DETAILS

Venue: Night Swim
744 Broadway
Kingston, NY 12401
(646) 220-2042

Cover: $8 advance / $12 at the door
21+

Load-in: 3:00 PM

Load through the door to the left of the front door.

Doors: 4:00 PM

Showtime: 5:00–9:00 PM

SET TIMES

5:00–5:20 PM – Diminished Returns (Kingston)
1st show! My new band!

5:40–6:10 PM – Half Dizzy (Long Island)

6:30–7:00 PM – Life Abuse (Albany/RVA)

7:20–7:50 PM – YDI (Philly)

8:10–8:40 PM – Urban Waste (NYC)

Please stick to your scheduled slot and keep sets to 30 minutes max, 20 minutes for my band.

DCxPC Live prides itself on putting the punk in punctuality. Running on time keeps the night smooth for everyone. Plus, it’s always better to leave people wanting more versus wishing you had played one less.

I will have a timer onstage keeping you to 30 minutes, so if you break strings, bring an extra guitar. We won’t give you extra time if you have to change a string. Your amp catches on fire…that’s another story. LOL.

PARKING & LOAD-IN

Parking is street parking in front of the venue or around the corner on E. St. James Street.

If you find a spot in front of the venue, you can load in through the front door. If you park around the corner, you can load in through the back door.

Odds are you’ll approach the venue from the traffic circle. If you do, don’t go onto Broadway where the venue is. Take the exit onto Albany Avenue, take a right at the first street, and then turn right onto Broadway.

This will let you either park on the street in front of Night Swim or turn right onto E. St. James Street to park.

Turning left onto E. St. James Street from the traffic circle is illegal.

First band load in on stage. All other bands store guitars, heads, breakables in designated areas in the same side room the merch is in.

GEAR / BACKLINE

I prefer that all bands share gear or use my backline.

Drums

I have a Tama four-piece drum kit, five-piece if you need it, with:

• Snare stand
• Three cymbal stands
• Hi-hat stand

Even if a kit is shared, drummers still need to bring their breakables:

• Cymbals
• Snare
• Sticks
• Throne
• Bass drum pedal

Guitar/Bass

I have:

• Two Peavey 4x12 guitar cabs
• One Hartke 4x10 bass cab

These are guitar and bass cabs, so you’ll need to bring a head.

I do not have combo amps. If you’re using a combo amp, let me know.

If you have any special equipment needs, such as a mixer, horns, etc., please let me know.

If someone really wants to use their own cab or drum set and you’re willing to share it with all the other bands, let me know and I’ll be happy to not haul everything.

MERCH

We will have three 6–8-foot-long tables set up in the side room adjacent to the show room for bands to set up and sell merch.

HOSPITALITY

Food: $5 meal tickets worth five dollars off food menu items at the bar. Vegan options are available. When you use these tickets, you must pay the food tab when ordering. It can’t be added to any other tab you are using.

Drinks: One drink ticket per band member, which covers a beer-and-shot combo, most other beers, wine, some call shots, well liquor, and N/A beers.

PROMO

I’m printing:

• 11x17 posters
• 8.5x11 flyers
• Handbills

I’ll be posting them around Kingston, New Paltz, Rosendale, Saugerties, Woodstock, Poughkeepsie, Newburgh, the Catskills, etc.

If you’re local, or have friends who are, DM me an address and I’ll mail some out.

I’ve already submitted the show to the event calendars of Kingston Happenings, Chronogram, Hudson Valley One, Poughkeepsie Journal, etc.

When posting, please invite all bands as collaborators and tag the venue.

Also make sure to tag the flyer artist: @edzomby

I’ll also be running targeted social media ads approximately 7–10 days out.

EVENT STAFF

My “backline” — the folks who support me and help keep the show running smoothly.

Dez – DCxPC Live Sound Engineer

Dez handles sound for 99% of my shows and makes bands sound amazing. He has multiple DI inputs, plenty of mics and stands, front floor monitors plus a drum monitor, multiple subwoofers, and can handle in-ear monitors.

Savannah – DCxPC Live Production Manager

Savannah coordinates pre-show logistics and helps run the event day-of through production support, staff and performer communication, and troubleshooting as issues arise.

She will also be creating the IG reels to help advertise the show.

Arsenic & Willy – DCxPC Live Stage Crew

They handle the door, help with load-in, stage and merch setup, and jump in wherever needed to keep the show running smoothly.

Aaron – DCxPC Live Staff Photographer / @put.over.photo

When he’s not playing in Half Dizzy, he’ll be there to capture all the action and excitement.

Chastity – DCxPC Live Staff Photographer / @horrorqueenphotography

Assuming she’s not exhausted from her birthday show the night before at El Dorado, she’ll be there to help capture all the fun, especially Half Dizzy since Aaron will be onstage.

All of them work incredibly hard to support my events and the scene in general, so please say hi and let them know how much they are appreciated.

PAYOUT STRUCTURE

The following costs come out of the door first:

• Sound: $200
• Door: $50
• Promotion (Poster design, printing, and social media ads): $50 or 5% of the door, whichever is higher
• Urban Waste / YDI: Tour guarantee

After those costs and tour guarantees are covered, the remaining bands payout is divided as follows:

• Half Dizzy and Life Abuse: Split 70% of the remaining payout, with a minimum of $50 per band
• Diminished Returns: 30% of the remaining payout, with a minimum of $25

Depending on cash flow, bands may have to receive their payment the following day via Venmo, PayPal, Cash App, or Zelle.

That’s everything! Thanks again for being part of this.

Much love and PMA,
