DCxPC Live - Sunday, November 8 - A Benefit for L.O.U.D.
Thanks so much for playing the Sunday, November 8th show at Snapper Magee’s! I’m stoked to see each of you play and to work together to make this night a banger. We’ve got a killer lineup.
This show is a benefit for L.O.U.D. (Latin Outreach, Unity and Development), a Kingston-based nonprofit organization that empowers the local Hispanic and immigrant community by connecting people with resources, offering advocacy, and celebrating Latino culture.
SHOW DETAILS
Venue: Snapper Magee’s (21+)
59 N. Front St., Kingston, NY 12401
(845) 339-3888
Cover: Donations
Load-in: 3:00 PM
Load-in notes: Load through the front door. The first band’s gear goes directly onstage. Gear for the second and third bands goes to the left of the stage. Gear for the fourth through sixth bands goes in the room behind the stage.
Doors: 4:00 PM
Showtime: 5:00–9:30 PM
SET TIMES
5:00–5:30 PM — Gibbons
5:45–6:15 PM — Will Romeo and the Born Sick
6:30–7:00 PM — The Goons
7:15–7:45 PM — Modern Natives
8:00–8:30 PM — New York Nicks
8:45–9:30 PM — Non Residents
Timing: Please stick to your scheduled time. DCxPC Live prides itself on putting the punk in punctuality.
Running on time keeps the night smooth for everyone, and it’s always better to leave people wanting more than wishing you had played one song less. I’ll have a timer onstage.
If you break strings, bring a backup guitar. String changes won’t extend your set. If your amp catches fire...that’s another story.
PARKING & LOAD-IN
Street parking and several nearby municipal lots are free all day Sunday. If you can’t find a spot close by, feel free to double-park in front while unloading. We’ll help carry gear.
GEAR / BACKLINE
The following shared backline will be available:
Drums: Tama 4-piece kit with a snare stand, two boom cymbal stands, a ride-cymbal extension arm, and a hi-hat stand.
Even with a shared kit, drummers must bring their own breakables:
Cymbals
Snare
Sticks
Throne
Bass drum pedal
Guitar / Bass: Two Peavey 4x12 guitar cabinets and one Hartke 4x10 bass cabinet are available. These are cabinets only, so bands must bring their own heads.
If you need to use your own gear, such as a combo amp, please let me know in advance.
All cabinets and drums will be mic’d.
MERCH
I’ll provide one 8-foot rectangular table, one 6-foot rectangular table, and a fitted wood surface that I cut to play over the foosball table. There are also two Snapper tables I can put together, plus shelves in the window bay.
HOSPITALITY
Each band member will receive a $5 food ticket toward any food at the food truck outside, or if there is no food truck available, I’ll order a buffet of Chinese food. Please let me know if anyone in your band has are vegans or have any allergies.
I’ll also have a case of room-temperature bottled water.
Each band member gets one drink ticket, good for a beer, a well drink, or a nonalcoholic option.
Each band member also gets a free DCxPC Live T-shirt.
Rough Draft, a coffee shop, is a couple of blocks away.

PROMO
I’m printing:
11x17 posters
8.5x11 flyers
Handbills
I’ll post them around Kingston, New Paltz, Rosendale, Saugerties, Woodstock, Poughkeepsie, Newburgh, the Catskills, and surrounding areas.
If you’re local, or have local friends, DM me a mailing address and I’ll send some out.
Please tag all bands, the venue, and DCxPC Live in your posts. Instagram only allows five collaborators, so I’ll likely alternate among the bands and venue.

EVENT STAFF
My “backline”: the folks who support me and help keep the show running smoothly.
Dez — DCxPC Live Sound Engineer
Dez is DCxPC Live’s sound engineer. He handles sound for 99% of my shows and makes bands sound amazing. He has four DI inputs, plenty of mics and stands, floor monitors up front plus a drum monitor, two to three subwoofers, and can handle in-ear monitors.
Savannah — DCxPC Live Production Manager
Savannah is DCxPC Live’s Production Manager. She coordinates pre-show logistics and helps run the event through day-of production support, staff and performer communication, and troubleshooting. She also manages the lights during the show. When she’s around, I know there will always be a solution to every problem.
Willy & Arsenic — DCxPC Live Stage Crew
Willy and Arsenic are DCxPC Live’s stage crew. They handle the door, help with load-in, stage and merch setup, and jump in wherever needed to keep the show running smoothly. They are kind and kind of amazing too.
Aaron — DCxPC Live Staff Photographer
Aaron from @put.over.photo will be there to capture the action. He photographs nearly all of DCxPC Live’s shows, and I look forward to his photos as much as I look forward to the shows.
Chasity — DCxPC Live Staff Photographer
Chasity from @horrorqueenphotography will also be there. She’s been killing it as DCxPC Live’s newest staff photographer! I’m sure you’re going to love her work as much as I do!
All of them work incredibly hard to support my events and the scene in general, so please say hi and let them know how much they’re appreciated.
BAR STAFF
Terri & Brittany
Terri and Brittany are two of the best bartenders I’ve ever worked with, at a show or otherwise. They love to support the music scene and are here to make sure everyone has a good time. Show them some love, and tip them well!
