Like any good punk band worth their salt, we've got plenty of energy here.

The band Year of the Fist has collaborated with label DCxPC Live and as a result we have this energetic and raw record of their song 'I Want Your Love (Live)'. It sounds great and real. Guitar punk pierces the air with its slogans calling for love. The sound palette is full of guitar dive and the crazy rhythm that starts and pushes into a cool rock dance.

This live performance captures all the rawness, dynamics, and aggression of the band. Still, Year Of The Fist also simultaneously showcases the emotive and melodic side, which is a perfect contrast compared to their other qualities.

Once venues shut down in 2020, the band decided to put on a virtual Festival of Fistmas for Ivy Room and garnered some of their biggest supporters. “Through the fest we raised some much-needed funds to help them keep the lights on even though the venue had been dark for so many months,” explains the band.

Year of The Fist recorded the song 'Red Lights Flash' with a very drive energy that endowed by true punk rock.

The group does an excellent job at drawing you into their music even without lyrics, and when you do hear the vocals, everything seems to line up perfectly.
