The Bad Actors Release New Single: “Nothing Comes to Mind”

The Bad Actors new single, “Nothing Comes to Mind”, is a power pop tune for the whole family. It has that 50s/60s rock single sound mixed with some early Elvis Costello topped off with just a dose of pop punk. This self-proclaimed “two piece power trio” knows how to craft a song that is immediately catchy and danceable while also rocking. Two piece bands whether bass and drums or guitar and drums always have to find a way to fill in that gap usually held by the "missing" instrument, a task that is not always achievable, but these dudes definitely found the skeleton key for that door.

And it's not just a trick of studio overdubbing because they've got this rad recorded live in the studio video that shows that they can perform this live without studio magic.

Between the hard hitting drums and grooving riff and the melodic vocals that is a well crafted song that I'm finding super easy to hear on repeat as I write this while drinking my morning coffee. Definitely a band I'm gonna keep an eye on for future releases.
