Suicide Puppets Release New EP: Beyond the Veil!

Suicide Puppets have released a brutal industrial metal EP, Beyond the Veil! This five song banger rips from start to fucking finish. Each song appears to be related to some aspect of a serial killers mind or actions. A perfect topic for a band that has it’s pulse on how to bring the fucking evil metal.

“Death Note” Kicks off the EP with in your face growled metal vocals, powerful riffs overlayed with sick melodic keyboard all powered by a relentless rhythm section. Almost reminds me of a heavier Sisters of Mercy.

“1000 Ways to Die” is the second song. It’s a little faster than the first one with some dope rapid fire double base. Dig the breaks and the breakdown parts too. I know I said it last song, but that extra layer added by the keyboard really help to make this song feel more full and emotional. The guitar solo at the end slayed. And I had to admit that I chuckled at the end of the song when it closed with “Fuck you, You’re Dead”

“Prey” - This third song started with gnarly groove and then went into a catchy as fuck (for metal) chorus once again supported by those melodic keyboards that I love so much. The riff reminds me a bit of what I’d have heard from early Coal Chamber. Oh yeah. I’m digging ending, especially that guitar noodle at the end. Fuck yeah.

“Everyday” - This song almost has a positive feel as it screams at me to “live everyday like there’s not tomorrow” and “life’s too short to live in sorrow”. I'm digging the anthemic aspect of this tune for sure. The build up to “The only mother fucker I’m afraid of is me!” is rad as fuck.

“Sinner” - Okay. Fuck yeah. From the first second it kicks in with a thrashy riff, double bass to your face, and those keyboard just fucking make the song soar! I’m so into this song. The ending was just epic. Great way to end the fucking EP!

Also since I’m all about the live music, he’s a sick live video:
