TERRA Releases New Single: “Hellraiser”

Terra has that hardcore mixed with metal and vocals that at times remind me of Max from Sepultura/Soulfly but delivered with a NYHC vocal pattern. Digging the grooves in the riffage that allows the song to be fast but also make me want to do some old school dancing in the pit. Drumming was more simple than you’d normally hear on a metal track, but that just meant that they were allowing the drums to fit the song versus trying to show off all the fills and double bass patterns they can fit into a song.

If you’re near Santa Cruz, CA check out one of their upcoming shows:

1/19/24: 6th Ave Studios
1/20/24: Battle of The Bands UCSC
1/27/24: 6th Ave Studios

Check them out on Spotify or on my Metal Playlist
