Vida Releases New Single: “TMS”

Canada’s Vida just a released a dope new post hardcore single, “TMS”! It’s a mix of hardcore, punk, metal and maybe even some math rock in there. I hear elements of The Refused as well as early 1990’s Dischord in there. I really dig the chorus with the two vocalists trading back and forth. The snare roll buildup out of the bridge is sick as fuck too. This is a band that makes sure each part of the song is well thought out and intentional. Every drum fill, every bass note, the vocal phrasing and the guitar riffage are able to shine individually but work best as a cohesive whole.

Besides the aforementioned band, I’d say fans of bands like The Bronx and The Gallows

Their bio says they were on hiatus, and based on Bandcamp their last release was nearly ten years ago, so all I can say to that is I’m glad they ended their hiatus cause this is fucking dope shit.

You can also check them out on their Spotify or on my Punk / Hardcore Playlist and my Indie Rock/Grunge/Garage Rock Playlist

Make sure to follow them on IG and TikTok
