Cat Ridgeway Releases New Single: “Epilogue”

Somehow despite being stuck in Orlando for 15 years, I managed to never catch a show with Cat Ridgeway, and if her new song, “Epilogue” is any indication of her craft, it is definitely my loss. I can’t speak to her other songs, but this song has her overstrumming (Is that a word) a punkabilly -esque foot stompin’ tune on a banjo! One part rockabilly, one part punk, one part garage rock and all parts fucking rad! The breakdown with the rad drum sounds and the rapid fire vocals is probably my favorite part of what is a good ass fucking song.

I could totally see her sharing the stages with the likes of Lara Hope and the Ark-Tones or Frenchy and the Punk up here in the Hudson Valley — hint hint.

Check the song out on their Spotify or my Punk Playlist and my Indie Rock/Garage Rock Playlist
