Last Penance Releases New Single: “Tired Veins”

I’m not usually a metalcore fan, but “Tired Veins” by Last Penance really grabbed me. But the song has so many dope thrashtastic parts that really hit into my love of 80’s thrash metal. I also appreciate the lyrical creativity of taking Herman Hesse’s “Steppenwolf”, and incorporating the themes of self-control and suicide.

Plus at close to the three minute mark there was just this epic sound that exploded out and made me sit up straight and go fuck yeah! As with all songs that I really dig, it ends a little abruptly and leaves me wanting more.

I’d normally lead you to their Bandcamp page to listen, but this song isn’t there. I’m sure it will be soon when their upcoming album "Heathens" comes out.

You can also listen on their Spotify or on my Metal Playlist

And since I’m a live album vinyl record label, I had to find some live footage:

If I had to pick one metal album on my roster for fans of this band it would be No Coffin!
