Wine Lips Release New Single: “Stimulation”

Wine Lips’ new song “Stimulation” of their new release Super Mega Ultra brings a mix of garage rock and psychedelic to create a well crafted, catchy as fuck, song. I usually try to compare bands to other bands, but I can’t really think of one that works. My first thoughts were a mix between The Who and Wire, but that really doesn’t quiet do it other than to explain how much they are their own beast. It’d be like trying to explain the overarching sound on all 40+ Guided by Voices albums.

So what do you have? You have a faster than mid-temp rock song with garage style guitar riffs with some psychedelic guitar leads and vocals that would have fit into any comp that came out of CBGBs in the mid 1970’s all over top a rhythm section that knows how to tie it all together into a danceable but rocking flow.

My best suggestion is that you just listen to this now on Bandcamp and buy this shit on vinyl! If it weren’t for international shipping costs, I’d be on it now!

Also since I’m a live album on vinyl record label, here’s a live clip:
