Reactor 7 Releases New Single: “Falso Profeta”
This is some dope ass skate punk from Mexico! They didn’t include a lyric sheet for me to translate, so I have no idea what they are singing about, but that’s part of the beauty of music in general and punk music in specific—I rarely have to understand all the words to get the emotion and feeling the song is presenting. While the song is melodic it has that punk rock spite in it. It sounds a lot like what I’d hear on early Fat Music for Fat People comps or Punk O’ Rama comps which is by no means a negative since I cut my teeth on that shit.
This is good shit, and if I didn’t have a torn meniscus in each knee, I’d put their tape in my boom box and hit the parking lots and pools on my skate board like it was still 1989, and I was still a 13 year old punk ass kid.

¡Este es un skate punk genial de México! No incluyeron una partitura con la letra para que yo la tradujera, así que no tengo idea de qué están cantando, pero eso es parte de la belleza de la música en general y de la música punk en particular; rara vez tengo que entender todas las palabras para entenderlas. la emoción y el sentimiento que presenta la canción. Si bien la canción es melódica, tiene ese despecho punk rock. Suena muy parecido a lo que escuchaba en las primeras composiciones de Fat Music for Fat People o en las de Punk O’ Rama, lo cual no es de ninguna manera negativo ya que me corté con esa mierda.
Esto es una buena mierda, y si no tuviera un menisco desgarrado en cada rodilla, pondría su cinta en mi estéreo y recorrería los estacionamientos y las piscinas en mi patineta como si todavía fuera 1989, y todavía estuviera un niño punk de 13 años.
