Brain Cave Release New Single: “Neologism”

Brain Cave bring that post hardcore sound that reminds me so much of late 80’s early 90’s Dischord stuff which means I dig the fuck out of it. While the guitar has dope ass licks and fucking great use of feedback, the bass and drums provide all the power behind it to make it fucking rock, and the vocals feel like the singer(s) is laying bare their soul. I could so have seen this band rocking the Wilson Center in DC back in the day and me loving every fucking moment of it. I see them on a bill with Zegota, Kill the Man Who Questions, Crispus Attucks and Fugazi. Damn that would be a sick ass show. Fucking thick sound for a three piece too.

Cleveland isn’t too far from the Hudson Valley, so I’d love to do a show trade with these dudes and play some shows together, if only so I could see them live. Especially if it’s a rad ass basement show:

Check them out on their Spotify or my Punk Playlist
