Boss Rush Release New Single: “Catalogue of Shame”!

Boss Rush is a husband and wife duo embracing their love of the DIY, political punk bands a la Propagandhi and the aesthetic of post punk embraced by Dischord records work together to create some damn fine music in their Alabama basement.

Their newest single, “Catalogue of Shame”, has layered guitars to feed out the bottom end due to a lack of a bass player (unless that’s a distorted bass—hard to tell sometimes). The mid-tempo song has a great vocal pattern and the music matches the topic of basically re-living everything shitty thing you’ve ever done. It’s like they’ve entered my mind on sleepless nights.

Maybe its the drummer in me, but I dig the drum beat during the bridge. Probably my favorite part of the song. That and the guitar work that brings the bridge to an end.

Rad song. And looks like a rad duo doing good things for good reasons for good people. Fucking good.
