Hound’s New Single “Ghost In The Grey” is Out Now!

I enjoy pop punk, but I’m often picky and when it has emo elements, I’m even more picky. Seeing that in this description, I wasn’t really expecting to enjoy this as much as I did. Part of it is the vocals both in the tone and phrasing just really appealed to me, and kept me listening.

The song is catchy and has just enough heaviness to it to give it the edge I prefer in a song.

The double bass towards the end is a nice little touch. It reminds me a little of Florida’s Dial Drive whom I really dig.

The “Yeahs” made me smile too. It’s done in a way that isn’t really the traditional sounding way but really adds a nice accent to the song.

If you’re int he UK and you’re fans of Finch, Funeral For a Friend, The Used or Story of the Year, you need to check these dudes out!
