The Snouts Bring that Fun Melodic German Punk Filled with Humor!

Yes. I admit it. I have no idea what they are saying. I have no idea what the title of the song “Fang an” means, and yes, I could look it up, but I’d rather review this the way I heard non-English punk rock as a kid in the 1990’s i.e. just getting a feel for it. And this feels dope as fuck!

I hope, I’m grabbing low hanging fruit by comparing them to Wizo, but it’s so similar to that band it’s hard not to make the comparison. It’s got that Fat Wreck Chords pop punk / skate punk feel, and even though I don’t know what their saying, I get the feeling that it’s steeped in humorous sarcasm and wit. If I’m wrong, it doesn’t matter because I’m constructing the meaning for myself.

There is a break down in the end that reminds me a bit of what I’d expect to hear from Sum 41 which isn’t really my thing, but they do it well, and go right back into that classic 90’s punk.

Check them out on Spotify or on my punk playlist full of bangers.
