Layul Releases New Single: “New Jersey”

With a vocal tone that remind me of Atom and his Package, Layul sings some catchy acoustic punk rock with lyrics lambasting New Jersey because…well it’s fucking New Jersey, so I don’t think this really has to be explained. I could write a similar song about Florida though I don’t really care for NJ’s jug handles to turn left or the shitastic NJ turnpike, so I get what they are saying.

Scoping out the rest of their catalog they change up their sound each song as they see fit. Always catchy but moving from acoustic punk, to emo, to pop, to hip hop and any combination of those. Glad to see someone who doesn’t feel compelled to be one thing and is willing to just be themselves as the mood hits.
