Fates Messenger Release New Single: “Serpents Coil”
Back in May I did a review of a double single by Fates Messenger, so I was stoked to get their new song, “Serpents Coil”, which continues on the mix of trash and metalcore that reminds me quiet a bit of Pantera post Cowboys from Hell.
You’ve got heavy hard hitting vocals that don’t get into that death metal growl but stick more to a NYHC style. There is a solid as fuck mix of thrash parts of and groove heavy as fuck riffage. Within this heaviness is just the right touch of guitar melodies to cut the edge. This takes me back to my days going to Ozzfest twenty or so years ago.
