Common Crime Releases New Single: “Ghosted”

My time is rather limited. Between work, my PhD, band, record label, wife and two kids, I have very little bandwidth, so I never agree to review songs I don’t like, and I usually politely decline to review a song from a band if I just reviewed three of their songs in the last two months. So when I received my 4th song from Common Crime, I was all prepared to say I needed to spread the love to other bands and songs, but fuck it if this song, “Ghosted”, didn’t just drill into my brain and my heart. So yeah I reviewed two songs back in May and one back in June, but fuck it, I’m gonna do another. Just one more hit, that’s all I need.

I dare you not to feel the emotion as they are singing “I’m right here waiting….” as it rises in intensity and than drops and pauses before hitting the chorus. Fuck yeah.

It’s catchy as fuck and despite being sad as all get out somehow makes me smile. Dudes should be hitting the road with the Menzingers or Spanish Love Songs.

Check out this song and the rest of their EP, Signals and Signs, on Bandcamp

You can also check out their stuff on their Spotify or my Punk Playlist

Follow them on IG and FB and check out their website too
