Family Man Releases New Single: “I Am The One”
Family Man has so much going on. It starts off with as sick bassline with rad synths overlayed with frantic vocal rhythm like someone has had twenty cups of coffee too many—sort of reminds me a little of something I’d hear on a Faith No More song or the rapid fire talking in songs like “Institutionalized” by Suicidal Tendencies.
The chorus comes in big and powerful and reminds me a bit of The Jesus Lizard. I could totally see these dudes ruling on the stage at Lollapolooza in the 1990s.
Then it all drops out into a rad drum pattern more melodic almost Radiohead vocals overtop of them. Before it then changes to angry pissed off vocals to match the growing crescendo of the music and then it all just stops.
So much happening in one song, and yet it all fucking works.
