Late Night Lies Releases New Single: “Hot Tub”

Fun and silly pop punk that reminds me of a mix between The Aquabats (w/o the ska), Nerf Herder and Bowling for Soup. This humorous little ditty is about being invited to hot tub party only to find out you were the only one invited….awkward. If the clapping and shouts at the beginning is authentic this could be a live recording, if so it’s really well done. If not, then it’s still fucking well done, but just not as impressive since it’s a studio recording. When will they let us know? The suspense is killing me worst than being the only person at a hot tub party.

The guitar solo is something special. Either the greatest thing I ever heard or the most ironically done metal solo that no self-respecting metal axe wielder would do.

Check out their song on Spotify or on my punk playlsit
