Kalbott’s “Life’s a Stench” Bridges That Gap Between 70’s Brit Punk and 90’s Socal Skate Punk!

Love to discover sick new bands, and this Israeli queercore is definitely a dope discovery! The song starts with the single guitarist fluctuating the opening riff between left and right speakers. The song then comes full swing with the full band blasting away. The vocals have that sound akin to the Adverts or Agent Orange. The vocal harmony / rhythm in the first verse had me humming along and sounded a lot like the bridge in Pennywise’s Brohymn when they’d sing

To all my friends, present past and beyond
To all those who weren't with us too long
Life is the most precious thing you can lose
While you were here the fun was never ending
Laugh a minute was only the beginning
Canton, Colvin, Nichols, this one's for you

I’m digging this song, and I’m definitely going to dig into the rest of their catalog. I’d love to see this as one of the international bands to play Fest in Gainesville, FL next year.
