The Snorts Have Released a New Kickass Single: “Heart Attack”

I remember the first time a girlfriend had a panic attack back in the mid-1990’s. Nobody knew what that shit was. We totally thought it was a heart attack but doctors could find nothing wrong. It took us a while to figure out it was a panic attack. That shit was scary as fuck,! This song is rad as fuck!

This rad Albany band (I’m gonna make it a priority to see them live) brings that 80’s hardcore mixed with 90’s skate punk to the fray. Song opens hard chanting “heart attack”! I can see the crowd shouting along with fists in the air.

In between the chants the band shows their ability to bring some melody to the vocals that would have fit fine on early Epitaph compilations. But the bridge gives the vocals some more dirty rock n’ roll rasp like you’d hear on a Dead Boys record that musically builds back a crescendo back into the chant of heart attack with some well placed snare flams by the drummer to let you know that if you weren’t shouting along before, you fucking should be now.

Check them out on Spotify here or on my punk playlist with other bangers
