Washington, D.C.’s next generation of politically-charged hardcore has arrived. DCxPC Live is proud to announce the release of Vol. 6: 504 Plan – Live & Dead, a raw and unfiltered document of youth rebellion—captured live and in the studio.
504 Plan is a high school punk band composed entirely of neurodivergent teens—all with 504 Plans for educational accommodations. Their name honors the system that helped them thrive, but their music rails against the many that still fail them. With blistering energy and a clear message, their songs tackle the U.S. education system, presidential elections, youth overmedication, and the hollow moralism of adults who never listen.
Side A of the record, Live, was recorded at DC9 and captures the volatile, urgent power of their live set.
Side B, already released on Spotify as To Think or Not to Think, was recorded with legendary producer Don Zientara at Inner Ear Studios.
Live Side: I Keep Going, Call to Action, Educational Prison, Bleeding Bureaucracy, 80HD, Half Mast, Breakdown/Slexo, and Annoying Orange
Dead Side: DC Gentrification, Slipping By, Cupid’s Kettledrums, Slexo, It’s About You, Call to Action, Half Mast, and Annoying Orange
