Red at Night and Marc-Alan Prince are two solo acts with punk history and a shared love of travel. Al, who goes by Red at Night, is from Italy currently living in Berlin. Marc-Alan Prince’s hometown is Austin, TX. Marc-Alan Prince is not only a solo artist but also the drummer of the Milwaukee pop-punk band Avenues. Marc-Alan Prince has played in 47 of the 50 states, 8 countries in Europe, and even in South Africa across the fifteen years of touring. He’s toured both as a solo artist and in bands including Knockin Bones, Avenues, and Buried Cities. In the last two years, Red at Night has performed over 80 shows in eleven countries.
In May 2024, Red at Night and Marc-Alan Prince embarked on their first tour together through Europe. The two had such a good time together that they decided to do it again, this time in the Midwest USA.
On this team up tour through the mid-west USA, the two celebrated releases of new EPs across ten days. In September 2024, Marc-Alan Prince released his EP Unforgiven and Red at Night released his EP With the Radio On.
Like many DIY tours for musicians seem to go, there were ups and downs. Unfortunately, Marc-Alan Prince had much of his personal belongings stolen the night of their stop in Chicago. However, they forged ahead to the last stop of the tour in Austin, TX.
At Kick Butt Coffee in Austin, on September 21, 2024, Marc-Alan Prince and Red at Night put on a packed, friend filled show. That show was captured and now to be released on vinyl thanks to DCxPC Live.
