SKA, SWEAT & SINGALONGS

Start dancing. End up in the pit. Flip the record and do it again.

Ska has never needed to stay neatly inside one lane, and neither does this bundle.

Ska, Sweat & Singalongs brings together three DCxPC Live records and five bands bouncing between ska, punk, hardcore, garage rock, reggae, soul and plenty of loud live chaos.

Half Dizzy kicks things off with ska rhythms, fast punk, hardcore bite and huge choruses recorded live at Mr. Beery's in Bethpage, NY. Flip the record and ChumHuffer takes things in a heavier direction with fast, loud New York Sharkcore recorded at Blue Point Brewing Company. Two different sides of the New York punk scene packed onto Ecomix purple vinyl.

Then it's back to Mr. Beery's for Skappository and Scum Shots. Skappository comes swinging with high-energy Long Island ska punk built for dancing, circle pits and shouting along. Scum Shots answers with their own collision of garage punk, surf, ska and reggae. The split randomly comes on either hand-poured black-and-white or black-and-red vinyl.

Finally, The Phensic slows the pulse just enough to bring in the soul. Featuring veterans of the American ska scene, The Phensic mixes ska, reggae, punk and soul into something gritty, danceable and completely their own.

This isn't three records that all sound the same.

It's three records for people who know the distance between the dance floor and the pit is about two steps.

Normally $49.85 separately. Get all three records for $35.
