Two bands. Four people. Plenty of fucking noise.
You don't need a huge lineup to make a massive racket.
Two Pieces. No Peace. brings together two DCxPC Live releases built around bands that prove exactly that. Cut-Rate Druggist and Shark Noises are both two-piece bands, but that's about where the similarities stop.
Oakland's Cut-Rate Druggist delivers bass-and-drums punky grunge / grungy punk on Blistering, their first full-length LP and one of the few studio albums released by DCxPC Live. Ten tracks, zero wasted space, pressed on orange crush splatter vinyl.
New York's Shark Noises attacks from the garage-rock side, turning guitar and drums into a wall of live sound on DCxPC Live Vol. 35. Recorded live at Mr. Beery's on Long Island, the record catches the grit, hooks, noise and energy of the duo in the room.
Two different sounds. Two different approaches. Four people total.
Normally $34.90 separately. Get both records for $25.
