Asfixia Social Release New Single: Traffic Lights w/ Guest Vocals from D.O.A.’s Joey Shithead!

Asfixia Social bring it all to the table and fucking let it rip with a mix of ska, rap, hardcore, punk, funk, dub all flavored with the Brazilian music of their country. And if that weren’t enough, “Traffic Lights” even has some rad ass guest vocals from Joey Shithead from D.O.A. one of my favorite hardcore punk bands!

The song starts with a fucking killer drum intro soon matched by some upstroked ska and horns before hitting into the skacore and then dropping back into some fast paced ska. The bass does a great job of filling in the bottom during the ska parts, and the keyboards and horns add all the right accents and melodies.

Joey’s vocals add just that extra amount of grimey dirtyness that just makes this all the better.

The hardcore/metalcore riffage and vocals at the end were a dope surprise.

Since The Fest (Gainesville, FL) has practically turned into a ska festival, these dudes need to play there, and also hit Foreign Dissent in Orlando, FL before that.

You can also listen on their Spotify or on my Punk Playlist or my Ska Playlist

Preorder the full length LP on their website

Follow them on FB and IG

And since I’m a live album vinyl record label, here’s some of their live shit:

Damn they are dope live! Maybe they should be my next international release? Thoughts??

If I had to pick one album for fans of this to order it would be my split with Skappository and The Scum Shots
