Love Ethic Releases New Song: “The Mind is Cleansed Through the Mouth”
What can I say about Love Ethic’s newest single, “The Mind is Cleansed Through the Mouth”? For one it’s the song about my grandmother washing my mouth out with soap that I didn’t know I always longed for. For another it’s one of those band’s whose musicality and intensity can’t be put into easy words. Because while I could say their twisting and turning sonic landscape reminds me of bands like The Minutemen, Mr. Bungle or Nation of Ulysses, the reality is they sound nothing like them other than that they are their own special mosaic that defies easy description. So I’ll just say it’s rad as fuck and worth a good half dozen listens today. Right now. What are you waiting for? Put it on repeat and then remember to share it without someone else, they’ll thank you like you’re thanking me now.
