Marisa Bloom Releases New Single: “Dairy Queen”

Marisa Bloom’s new song, “Dairy Queen” starts off giving off strong rockabilly vibes wrapped in a punk leather jacket. It’s full of soul, energy and rock n’ fucking roll. Not only does Marisa play guitar like a badass (check out the sick ass guitar solo), but they also have a fucking wail that just slaps. I hear elements of blues, rockabilly, punk, riot grrrl and more in this. I’m not really a Dairy Queen fan, but I’m a fucking fan of this song, and I can’t wait to hear what else Marisa has going on.

As I was listening to the song the last time through, I realized it reminded me a bit of Juliette and The Licks. Fuck Yeah!
