The Snorts Release New Single: “Message on the Machine”

It’s pretty rare that I review a song by a band when I just reviewed a different song a month or so ago, but this song was so catchy, I had to give it some love. Super melodic pop punk without being too saccharine.

The song starts as a song about longing for a loved one with the implication that they’ll be patient and wait for the love to be reciprocated, but since waiting for unreciprocated love is like banging your head against a wall that isn’t there, they finally decide to say fuck it and revel in their independence and declare that the good thing that came to those who wait was the ability to move on and be happily along. (Damn that’s a long sentence).

Favorite part of the song came at: 2:29—Fuck yeah!
