Gramercy’s Releases New Single: “Ghosts”

Gramercy’s new single, “Ghosts” kicks off with fucking brutal hardcore attack and keeps pounding at you with viscerally screamed vocals, discordant guitar with the drums steadily driving it deeper and deeper into you brain. It reminds me a little of a more raw Western Addiction which is high praise from me since I think Cognicide is one of Fat Wreck Chords top five if not best release. There is a brief moment when the drums drop out and the guitars get a little more “gentler” it sounds like the song might take a softer tone but it’s just the eye of the hurricane before it comes to a final powerful conclusion. The best part is that it left me wanting more and wishing the song were longer which of course means I’m just gonna have to listen to it again, and again, and again. etc.

They say their music is FFO: Comeback Kid, The Bronx, Refused, PUP, Minor Threat

If you know hardcore and punk like I do, you know that’s a diverse soundscape, which fits because you can tell this band is steeped in multiple types of hardcore.
