Totally Slow Releases New Single: “Future Burns”

I reviewed “Crosshairs” for Totally slow five or six months ago, so I was stoked to get their new single, “Future Burns”! The band continues to combine some of my favorite types of hardcore and punk. This song is a bit more melodic than Crosshairs and has the added dopeness of backing vocals from Noelle of SHEHEHE. Having grown up in the DC area as a teen and young adult, I’m always fond of anything that has that melodic hardcore sound that reminds me of Dag Nasty which I definitely hear in this song. Plus they’ve got that early SoCal punk like The Adolescents and Agent Orange who wee some of my early favorite bands as a teen, so for me this shit just fucking rocks.

They’ve got an album, Darkness Intercepts, on Refresh Records on March 22nd, so I’m gonna add that to my ever growing list of records (If I didn’t spend so much money putting our my own records, I’d have a much shorter list.) I need to get in 2024.

You can also listen on their Spotify or my Punk Playlist full of bangers

Follow them on their socials: IG, FB, and Linktree
