Good Teal Release New Single: “Freefall”

Alright Good Teal, I see you. Influenced by the likes of Scowl, Turnstile, and DRAIN, Good Teal bring a sonic mosaic that mixes punk, post hardcore, and metal into a sound all of their own. The opening riff is a killer one that is accompanied some cool ethereal sounds, the vocals come in barked with power and rhythm and the bass and drums just keep that beat moving steady to support what’s going on top without over complicating things. Oh and that guitar solo is of the type where I can see people pulling out their lights and doing metal fingers as the guitarist shreds on the edge of the stage. You know what I’m talking about.

There are parts of this that almost remind me of Rites of Spring or early Fugazi.

To say that I dig this is an understatement for sure, so I’m stoked to see what they release next!
