ChumHuffer Release New Single: “FYNS”

Dang it! I can’t believe I took so long to review “FYNS” by ChumHuffer because this shit rips. With a member of Blackout Shoppers who I’ve been a fan of since I got their their 7” split with Two-Man Advantage a decade ago as well as a former member from Hopeless Otis who I have coming up to Troy for a show in April, I should have known this shit would be total fuck.

They mix elements of Dead Kennedys and TSOL and when the gruff backing vocals come in, I hear a little of Tesco Vee and Lee Ving.

This is my kind of hardcore—based on the 80’s but played with a modern twist that makes it more than a carbon copy of past bands. Parts I can sing along to, parts I can chant to, and parts I can circle pit to. Fucking dope.

Check it out on Bandcamp and buy the digital or the CD:

Also listen on their Spotify or my Punk Playlist

Also, I had to include this video featuring footage from a live show at Mr. Beerys:

Follow them on IG and checkout their website
